Native Narrative

NN is a small (semi-idle) design and architecture studio, created by Cecilie Wang & Jakob Gate. Currently based in southern Denmark, we taking on a few selected projects each year.

We started in the Philippines in 2017, building four learning centres for children.

Since then, we’ve worked across different scales, but often find ourselves drawn to smaller projects, where architecture is shaped by furniture and space and object begin to merge.

Last year we designed and built a spa for a boutique hotel in Denmark. This year we’re renovating a coastal house.

Most of our focus and energy now goes into our sister company, Scandinavian Sauna, where we’ve spent the past 7 years developing mobile and freestanding saunas for private and professional clients.
